hace mucho calor

Woke up early in the morning to run some errands around school. Wasn't able to enroll for my classes but i was able to fix my course crediting forms pretty smoothly, so today's turning out to be pretty okay. 

It's summer right now in the Philippines, so it's pretty blazing. Frankly, if i could go out in a swimsuit everyday, i would. But since i can't, light fabrics are my best friend. Those pants are a godsend because they keep me looking classy while being really loose, light, and comfy. I'll admit that i didn't wear the wedges because my feet are still recovering and I was going to be walking all day, but they just worked so well so i couldn't resist taking a picture with them. 

Pardon my photos for their odd framing. I don't have a tripod so i stacked my camera on a notebook and a stamp kit, clicked, and prayed for the best.

This is a brand spanking new blog. I now have a fancy pants camera (huzzah!) so I'll be able to fill it with all of my amateur photography pretty soon. It’s nothing special yet, nor am I promising it will be special.I can hardly ever take myself seriously, so I can't say the same for my blog. It's entirely for enjoyment's sake, and I'll be able to look back at it every now and then and smile (or laugh my bottom off) while scrolling through all my posts.

This is still essentially a fashion blog but I'm much older now and I realized  that I'm not the fashion visionary i thought myself to be. Nowadays, i feel like there’s more to my life than just looking nice and I don’t want to limit myself to just fashion. But I still love dressing up and shopping and makeup and all that wonderful stuff. So this will be a marriage of my love for looking nice while succumbing to comfort (i am in uni, it's better to be practical). I'll throw in a few travel posts and food posts, but that'll be more on my tumblr.
